Who we are
A legacy built on conviction, not convenience
Four and a half decades ago we were a single engineering house with one belief — that a business worth building has to be worth inheriting.
That belief turned one company into eleven industries. Marine engineering and structural steel gave the group its backbone. Organic tea, retail and e-commerce put it on the country’s kitchen table. Property, education and sport gave it a horizon longer than any balance sheet.
What has never changed is the standard. Every division answers to the same question the founder asked in 1979: does this make the country stronger, and would we be proud to hand it to the next generation intact?

We started with a vision to contribute to the nation’s growth through engineering excellence, and have since diversified into sectors that touch every aspect of life in Bangladesh.
